I AM MY STREET
new theatre play
In I AM MY STREET, Mokhallad Rasem (IQ) and Jessa Wildemeersch(BE) connect their childhood streets in Iraq and Belgium through words, images and memories. And what do they discover? The stories of the inhabitants are more than once strangely related.
In response to the constantly changing rules and challenges in regard to the ongoing pandemic, the artists created the performance on locationand in the theatre. By making this choice, they wish to continue the necessary dialogue with the audience. Attached are some pictures of the work both locations.
