Ik zit op een zonning terras in Tribeca (Triangle Below Canal Street). Tribeca is sinds enkele jaren de nieuwe hippe buurt van New-York, in Lower Manhattan. De reconversie begon in de jaren tachtig, na een invasie van het artiestenvolk. Pakhuizen werden omgebouwd tot lofts en flats. Oude, waardevolle gebouwen werden gerenoveerd. Parken werden aangelegd.  
Op de achtergrond verrijst het nieuwe World Trade Center.
