It&rsquo;s been more than 55 years since Louis Paul Boon, one of the greatest writers in Belgian history, wrote &ldquo;De kleine eva uit de kromme bijlstraat&rdquo;. The poem is a cynical account of how society reacts to the murder of a young girl (&ldquo;Little Eva&rdquo;). Boon based his story on a real child murder of his time. The skillful writing and flawless evocation of doubt and emotions make this a timeless classic.<br />
Accordionist Tuur Florizoone and actress Jessa Wildemeersch deliver a touching interpretation of this 20th century masterpiece, by way of a musical theatre performance. It won&#39;t be their first collaboration either: this is already the fourth time Tuur and Jessa work together on a musical project.
Now that they&rsquo;ve based their performance on the original text of Louis Paul Boon, you&rsquo;re guaranteed to have an excellent afternoon.<br />
