les yeux bleus develops, produces and performs plays with a public issue dimension. Historical and present-day events are remixed into a theatre performance in collaboration with local and global artists and venues. The work is presented at (inter)national festivals, theatres and workspaces.

De Misfit in Me (2006) : selected for ‘TAZ 2006’ theatre festival in Belgium.
Margaret’s Awakening (2008): developed and performed at The Martin E. Segal Theatre in New York with the support of Flemish Community, toured North America and was selected for The Gulamekhak Festival for woman in Irak.
W.M.D (just the low points) (2009) for which les yeux bleus received another grant from the Flemish Community to co-develop work -in-progress with the Brooklyn based theatre company ‘Sponsored By Nobody’. ‘W.M.D (just the low points) was selected for 15th annual Ice Factory Festival in New York. Belgian residencies for this work- in - progress include Monty Arts Center in Antwerp and the Vooruit Arts Center in Ghent, where the performance had its world première at The Game is up! Festival. The performance toured around Belgium and ended in Amsterdam in March 2009.
Long Days. Short Stories. (2010) (testimony of a summer night) was created for Ostend Cultural City 2010, with the support of the city of Louvain.
S L O W (2013) is a research project in which Jessa Wildmeersch researches femaile archetypes from Shakespeare up to today, she was awarded a development grant by the Flemish Community in Belgium.
Days Without Dates (2015-2016) was co-proced by Het Nieuwstedelijk, toured Belgium and was selected for the Intersections Festival in Washington,
l'Etude (2017-2018): was presented in partnership with actresses Sofie Palmers en Sien Eggers en toured Belgium.
Summa (2018-2019): is a new performance in development based on the short stories by American neurologist David Eagleman.
